110 cubic meters of gas has been supplied during last 266 days that it was 10 billion cubic meters more than last year “Dispatching Director of NIGC said .”

According to public relation of NIGC news Mr. Torbati specified that by the rate of production increase , 6.5 billion cubic meters of gas is consumed in commercial and household sector and little industries and 2.5 billion cubic meters of gas is consumed in main industries and it shows that gas consumption potentials in commercial and household sector is more than main industries .

He emphasized that before begining cold season we have taken some actions in order to stop gas pressure drop . he also said that during first 6 months of the year all power plants have been working well with the maximum potentials .

Torbati  said that 110 billion cubic meters of gas has been produced and supplied and we hope it would increase to 55 billion cubic meters at the end of the year .

Dispatching Director by reference to negative balance of gas production and gas consumers growth rate during December  said that , although 50 billion cubic meters of gas is produced in comparison with the  last year, the intensity of cold is the reason of 20 percent gas consumption growth .

He also added that according to published news the temperate will be decreased to 4 degrees centigrade more than last year and 12 percent of gas consumption growth caused by intensity of the cold during last 20 days .

In order to inform people and the necessity of optimum gas consumption by consumers he added that : during previous days the consumers economized

about 1.7 percent with regard to consumption pattern in comparison with the last year .

Torbati by pointing to gas imports from Turkmenistan said that , 35 kilometers of gas network has been constructed from the boarder to Hasheminejad Refinery and gas import from Turkmenistan will be started at the beginning of January .

The volume of gas import from Turkmenistan is about 6 billion cubic meters yearly and it will increase to larger amounts .

Torbati noted that this is one of the strategic gas pipeline route in Iran. by existing  a high volume of production potentials in Dovletabad and joining to Iran global gas pipeline , gas transmission between two countries will be increased .

Manager of dispatching said that exporting gas to Turkey has been started from the beginning of the year and it increases to one billion cubic meters more than last year .

By using Ilam Refinery , gas distributed to the west part of the country easily.
