Iran need $20-25 billion Anually for gas projects

Deputy of Iran's Oil Ministery said the country needs $20-25 billion annually toward natural gas projects.

According to NIGC report,on the sideline od the 3rd Iran Gas Forum,Azizollah Ramezani went on to say that the country aims to curb consumption amid insufficient amid funding.

Ramezani as the managing director of NIGC said:"The need to revise the country's consumption model is ever more necessary." 

The 3rd Iran Gas Forum is being held from 26 to 27 September with representatives from Germany,the UK,Japan,the Netherlands,South Korea and Malaysia taking part in it.

The topics of the conference include policy making and macro strategies in the Iranian gas industry,management of demand and reform of energy consumption pattern,technology development in various fields of the industry and human resources development and its challenges.

some 212 domestic companies have been invited to the conference, adding that four roundtables are being held in the forum.

out of 275 papers 35 articles have been chosen that are presented in 7 sessions.

An exhibition will be set up with the aim of showcasing research achievements of the country in the natural gas industry,and an educational workshop is established to promote the technology in this industry.
