Exporting gas to turkey increases to 10 billion cubic meters.

In this meeting every related items of current mutual contract between two companies was inspected and two parts agreed about the quantity and process of gas delivery in coming winter "Azizollah Ramezani said,".By colaboration between Iran and Turkey for Turkmenistan gas usage Ramezani noted that , Iran by existence of extended pipelines can receive gas from Turkmenistan and use it in north and northwest area of the country and transmit some amount of gas to Turkey using current export pipelines.

Managing Director of NIGC said, by agreement between Iran and Turkey about transit of Turkmenistan gas , according to gas pipelines network development in Iran , gas swap between Iran , Turkmenistan and Turkey is more applicable in comparison with gas transition .

The existence of great gas resources in Iran and contiguity of Iran with gas countries as Qatar , Turkmenistan , Azerbaijan and also facilities of Turkey in transmission of gas to European countries is noticeable in developing commercial relations between two countries . Turkmenistan negotiated with Caspian sea countries about construction of transcaspian pipeline for transmission of gas to European countries from 15 years ago , but as a variety of problems it hasn’t put in to operation yet.
